The idea of Howerton+Wooten Events began when Kawania directed her first wedding for a fellow cable television executive in 2006. The company’s official launch was August 13, 2007. Howerton+Wooten Events’ highly regarded professional team is based in suburban Maryland, but they have experience planning amazing events throughout the US, Eastern Canada, Europe, and the Caribbean.
